Reno has gotta be one of my fav characters, cool, and smoothly sloppy. I have the EMR weapon nearly done, I've seen lots of things used for this--even a backwards baseball bat, even though i really wanted metal i ended up going with a tapered piece of wood. The Sunglasses there were difficult--Reno looks like he is wearing goggles, but on closer inspection he is wearing sunglasses with old fashioned leather side shields, and the only place i saw that sold ones kinda but not really like it is this company called Julbo and they're for mountain climbing--no surprise--as Reno is an awesome climber. SO i ended up hand making the leather side shields for the sunglasses.

For the wig i bought an already spiky red one and added on the rat tail in the back.

With the heat of Tampa at a con in the Summer it was unbearable to wear and now i can see why they have hygiene problems at cons, you sweat like mad and there isnt always a shower available to you.

All in all i was pleased with my costume. The only thing i wish i could change is my body type, would be nice if i was a little taller and leaner, i think i would fit Reno better that way.

Reno is a fun character to cosplay though, he is a happy and spunky guy and you can be a little obnoxious and get away with it. I liked dancing at the blackout rave the best in this costume.

In the future i would like to rig up the EMR to where it shoots out sparks.
