I was asked to make this costume by a friend who was doing Utena's rosebride dress. I'm really more of a Juri fan, but I really liked the colors of Shiori's gown (and hair!!), so it was fun to make this costume.
The top is made from a burgundy duchess satin with white bias tape and is fully lined. The skirt is made from the same duchess satin, as well as pink casa satin. I also made a thin petticoat to go over the hoop skirt. The crown is made from craft foam which is attached to a headband.
