This cosplay took me a total of 6 months to make. I started it when I was 15 years old and completed it by the time Anime Expo 07 came around. As for the materials I used: leather, wood, metal pipes, wires, foam, tape, sheet metal, rubber, and a baby harness. In order to hold these heavy wings, I removed the part that holds the baby and replaced it with latches to attach to the wings.

I was first introduced to the character Vincent Valentine from the movie Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. I chose to cosplay this character simply because he looked so bad-ass and I loved his outfit. Then the video game Dirge of Cerberus came out which focused on the life of Vincent. I played the game and was introduced to his other form Chaos, which is where I saw those cool demon wings. I didn't want to cosplay Chaos because he didn't resemble Vincent's original form so I decided to keep Vincent and just add his wings from his Chaos form so it has a "transforming" effect.


I couldn't have done this without the help of:
- Mom (she is a pro at sewing and taught me her skills)
- Dad (he has provided me with metal and wood from his work and access to his huge tool box)
