My friend Jeru and I wanted to make Utena costumes so badly, but couldn't decide on which Rose Bride/Duelist pair to focus on, or who we'd even be good as. Eventually we decided we wanted to make our own color schemes and just do our own original interpretations of the costumes.

My color scheme was green and gold, and hers was black and blue. These were our first epic costume endeavors, and I'm still way pleased with how they came out. I'd even like to re-make them one day. I love being a Rose Bride!
