I wanted to do this costume to surprise some friends. I got the base shirt at a thrift store, and modified it with trim, armor, and a zipper.
Edit: Remade the jacket completely, and the armor as well. Originally the armor was foam, the base is now Rigid Wrap for both form and durability.
