It seems that when I really like a character I can never do just ONE of their outfits. Orihime and Hinata are prime examples. They are like pringles! You can't just have one. (In this case, I can't make just one.)

Anyway.

I've been dying to do another Sora outfit but his default for KH2 was definitely a challenge for me so I am not too sure if I am ready to make any of his drive form versions just yet. (More details! D:)
And I am not too keen on his original KH outfit...^^;;

I thought his Halloween Town outfit might be fun to run around in, especially in the fall/winter!


Percentage: Pretty much 100%

I need to make sure the red strips stay up on my legs and that the wings don't pull the top back making everything sit funny.
I am also tempted to remake the wings. We'll see.
Besides those things, I am pretty happy with it.

Costume pieces:
Wig ~ Styled by Soyo

PumpkinFace!Mask ~Cardboard base with model magic wrapped around it, then painted. There is a clip in the back to make it stay on the wig. ~_~

Crown pendant/pin ~ Craftfoam with a pin backing

Undershirt ~ I forgot the pattern I used. D: It wasn't too hard. I cut out the pieces then cut the front down in half to add the black panel with the grey pieces. (The grey pieces were just leather strips I had lying around and painted. Luckily the grey's matched.)

Collared top ~ Modified Simplicity pattern B4963
The white designs were attached with heat n' bond.

Long black sleeves ~ opaque black tight material sewn on to the collared top as sleeves

Shoulder material ~ Beige-y corduroy. I wanted to use moleskin but I couldn't find the right color...

Wings ~ The under-cape-y wing base part is this floral holder thing I found at Michael's. I know--its random, but it bent in the right shape! Then I used wire for the actual wing part. The black stuff is all craft foam.

Gloves ~ Ugggh, I had problems making these! Probably the hardest part for me, sadly. I couldn't find a pattern so I had to make everything up. They grey "X"s were craftfoam (LOL I am using that for everything apparently) but they didn't stay on so well so I heat n' bonded gray material for the "X"s instead.

Pants ~ Modified Simplicity pattern B4326. REALLY easy pattern. I probably should have used a more complicated one but it was my first time actually making a full set a pants--my regular Sora one's don't count because they are more like chaps XDD--so I went easy on myself.

Belt ~ Belt I found. Painted the blue stripes on them and attached snaps for the studs that go all the way around.

Red strips ~ Snapped them onto the inside of my pant-legs and the black leggings so they'd stay put. Not staying put so well so I need to figure out something.

Shoes ~ I found some men's tennis shoes/hiking boot things that were vaguely the right shape and made shoe covers. Pretty easy, actually! Only took about an hour or two! Not like default Sora shoes--those took me a few days.

Fangs ~ Scarecrow brand that you custom mold to your teeth. So far they stay put pretty well!

Make-up ~ temporarily using Mehron "black". I want to get star blend at some point.

When I have more money, I want to make the Decisive Pumpkin keyblade. It's so silly looking. XDD
