I like this costume! I think it is so beautiful! But I hate getting out of it to use the restroom! >.< It takes so long! I was surprised I looked all right with green hair.

Neptune Planet Power Make-up!

Wig- I bought the Perfect Wig in emerald from CosWorx for Neptune's green hair.

Earrings- I bought some white pearl-like earrings at Wal-Mart for $2.50.

Tiara- I cut a piece of craft foam into the shape and painted gold metallic paint with many coats. Then I added the gem and put a string through the back so it can stay on my head.

Necklace- I used a green ribbon that matched the green of my skirt and collar and sewed Velcro on it. To make the gem on the necklace I got a circle green gem then I added the yellow wing-like things around it with card stock. I doubled the paper up so it was thick then glued them on to the gem. The gem was then glue onto the ribbon.

Front and Back Bow- My mom sewed the bows for me. We followed http://www.lynleigh.com/cosplay/ tutorial. My sister and mom made the front and back bows with a dark blue dull satin.

Pendant on bow- I used light weight clay to form the shape of a 3-D circle. Then it was painted with green paint and a varnish was added so the paint wouldn't chip off. I glued two pins on the back of it and attached them through the bow.

Gloves-I bought a pair of evening gloves at Claire's and cut and hemmed them to be half way up my lower arm. Then with green satin I cut two rectangles and sewed matting in between. Once flipped over we put two lines down it to give it that roll look and sewed the ends together. I just slide the colored part on top of the glove and it stays.

Leotard- My mom added the sleeves to a white leotard.

Skirt- My mom followed a Sailor Moon costume pattern and made the skirt.

Shoes- I had a hard time finding green shoes. Mine don't even match my skirt. I got some ribbon that matched the shoes and added Velcro to the ends. Then I just criss-cross them around my foot and ankle.
