This isn't really an accurate representation, I just took the bits I liked and made up the rest. Making the bodice was difficult for me. It's made from stretchy lace stuff layered over satin, so didn't co-operate very well. The sheer amount of fabric involved was evil to work with, and my sewing machine objected as usual. This dress is my second attempt, so the whole project took a long time. I did learn a lot about the difficulties of dressmaking though.
