After three upgrades, I have done all the work I'm gonna do on Gogo. XD I totally <3 wearing it, and despite the layers, it is not as hot and uncomfortable as some might think.

I don't interpret Amano's art as being a sea of beads, feathers and sequins. Maybe I'm just a simpleton, but since he used watercolor and paints, I decided to do the same with the designs on my costume. Everything is hand painted and blended brushstroke by painstaking brushstroke, and the bottomweight and poplin fabrics I chose for their similarity to canvas. Everything from the headpiece down to the socks have their own little painted designs on them, including little surprises waiting when you lift up a fold of fabric.

All this work for such a stupid looking costume. ;p
