I'm a big fan of NANA's manga, and felt very related with Nana Oosaki character. I wanted to cosplay her, but I was afraid of not being recognized (her clothes are very similar to my regular ones). Then I knew about "Nana Day", it was my chance to show my love for NANA ^^
I used my own clothes for an accurate cosplay, that make everything easier. Nana wears this costume on Manga's Volume 2 Chapter 2, the first time she and Hachi meet at Apartment 707. I used the anime colors.
The only things I have to buy was the Vivienne Westwood's armor ring imitation, fake nails, more earrings, and some boots that haven't laces. I also cut my hair and dyed it black, so bad my bangs were too short.
My Nana costume wasn't very recognized (even by self named "Nana fans"), but I'm happy to have an accurate Nana costume and to cosplay her.
