We attended the midnight premiere of the IMAX Speed Racer movie. As a longtime fan of the original Speed Racer series, I insisted that we cosplay! We assembled VERY ghetto costumes for Speed, Trixie and Racer X, and were joined by Septen as Sparky.
What is it with this group and last-minute ghetto costumes? Still, I don't think I make a bad Jedi, considering the whole costume was put together in about ten minutes -- and that included finding the riding boots I hadn't worn since college.
Nobody at the party would have known who Noin was anyway, so I just opted for a more comfortable wig. It actually turned out kinda cute, or so I'm told...!
