Not that anyone will read this, but i had some leet ideas just now.

Ok, before my JIN ROH project can happen, i need money. At present, im still buying stuff for Reenactment, and im also going to germany in October, so need to save some cash for that.
So, regards to CHEAP costumes, i had a flash of utter inspiration when i was playing one of my favourite games: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl (im going to Chernobyl next year, thats how much i love the game)


I've decided to mash together some shit i already own to make a random Free-Stalker costume, as the equipment and clothing they wear is personal stuff, or things that they have found, stolen or bartered for.

My costume will consist of:
A pair of either Blue Jeans, or Camoflage Trousers (if i can find them)
A pair of Black boots, or my WW2 german ankle-boots
A hooded top, probably black.
A ww2 german Zeltbahn, worn as a poncho (acting both as waterproofing and camoflage top)
A wide camoflage belt around my waist, to keep my poncho in place and hold kit
German Y Harness connected to belt, and going over the shoulders, also with kit on.
Random Back-pack, possibly large Hiking-outdoorsy one
Fingerless leather gloves
Black Balaclava
Simple dust/work mask (looks liek gasmask)
Random pouches, flask etc for belt
Weapon, possible options are Pistol, with holster, Pump action shotgun, rifle, or an uzi smg.

If anyone bothers to read this, do tell me what you think. I'll get this stuff on tomorrow, or later today (as its 2am) and i'll get a couple of pictures taken. It won't be overly impressive, but its a quick- cheap option, to fill in whilst i save for other bits and bobs.
