Well as most of you probably already know the main hotel for AWA is booked. I ended up getting a room close by that's cheaper and has a mini fridge, so we'll see how that works out. I may decide to switch to another hotel in future years as well. It's always annoying on Sunday when they block off the main stairs for their little tea party and everyone's making several trips to load their car.

I decided to skip the contest this year. For one thing I was a judge there last year so it'd feel a bit awkward coming back as a contestant so soon : / Plus I haven't had time to do the "big" costume I wanted to do for it. I was thinking Link from Twilight Princess, but I haven't even ordered the chain mail links to make his shirt so I don't see that getting done in time. Maybe next year ^_^

I will still be cosplaying though. I have my Pikachu maid costume I haven't worn to a convention yet and I'm getting stuff together to do a better version of Sailor Earth. It'll be strange not being involved with the contest, but I try to remind myself of all the fun panels I won't have to miss out on this year. The BJD meet in particular ^_^
