I've been working on my Morrigan costume for a few months now - mainly trying out some patterns and doing a lot of thinking. Major components:

Wig - I have a wig and had it trimmed by my hairdresser. The bangs were really thick and heavy and she did a great job. She even did it at no charge because it was fun to do. I tipped her of course.

Bodice - I'm making a bodysuit that will have a side zipper. I made a pattern by making a duct tape form of myself then dividing it along seam lines. The initial try in fabric was close and will need some adjustments.

Wings / head wings - I have a paper pattern made to size of the shape I want and where wires will go for support. This is the big task I need to get back to.

Tights / Boots - looking to source online. I've read a lot on tips for adding bats from this site.
