So, I went out today... FINALLY.... to do some buying to start my costume for CTCon... I'm going to be doing Portgas D. Ace from One Piece after finally getting caught up in the series. It took me a couple of months to read those hundreds of chapters, by the way....

Anyway, I got modeling clay, some beads and cording to make Ace's hat and chi-bead necklace, completely.

And... Oh yea... I bought a hat.

A nice, good and floppy hat, but still structured, just like Ace's.

AND I don't need to paint it, it CAME orange, and the right color orange. *squee*

Best of all... I've now made Ace the older Mugiwara. Its not just Luffy anymore! That's right, its an orange straw hat!

So they'll be some Mugiwara-niisan jokes going on at CTCon.
