Why?

As I promised; Why don't I cosplay? Money. Thats the issue. Money, I am 19 years old, I dont have a job (looking though, I am not lazy), No time on my hands. Ok so being so old jobless, I AM still in high school, in adult ed. Thats a different story though all together.

I have many cosplays I WANT do do. MAINLY Crossplay, but for me it is easier and even more affordable for me to pick up a costume from like Spirit Halloween and make it into my own thing. Like What I plan to do with the Living Dead Crossdresser costume later, is learn how to make patches, not the iron on's not embroid it in the fabric, but make a patch that at anytime if I wish I can take it off. I was going to make suits; Red Spades and Clubs, Black Hearts and Diamonds. Yes I know that it not the natural colour order of suit.
It would be Gothic Alice.

But that is the reason I dont cosplay is BECAUSE of that little green paper thing, money. I mean yeah once I get a job, I will get and even make cosplay lol. When I move lol I might shoot for a three bedroom apartment, one room for me, one for a roomie, and one more for all things cosplay including materials to MAKE cosplay lol.

Money is a huge issue when it comes to my friends and I cosplaying. Buying them online is simply NOT an option. $175-$230 for a simple cosplay outfit wont do, so my grandma is making our outfits ^^ I hope all goes well with you and your cosplaying.

If you don't have lotsa money [like me], try sewing little bits when you have time. You don't need to stop doing everything else to cosplay, just get a few minutes in while something's in the oven, when you're watching TV, etc! It's actually not as slow a process as it sounds!
