I found a really awesome pair of goggles on ebay. They were PERFECT. They were pretty much exactly what I'd imagine a real-life pair of Simon's goggles to look like. With shipping, they were about $18. AWESOME. So I bought them. I even got a tracking number and everything.
Then, Monday, I looked at the tracking info. "Delivered to New York, NY." My dorm. That place that I don't live at this part of the year.
Not only do I not have any way to contact the building, the fact that even if I could get them to hold it for me so i could go up and get it, the travel costs, doubled with the fact that I have horrible issues about phones and contacting people and whatnot (stemming from a social anxiety complex I picked up in middle school), means I won't be getting them back.
We're trying to find another pair. I might contact the seller that I bought the original pair from and see if they could get another one for me to buy.
God damn I am a moron sometimes.
