Was too much fun. ^^ I finally got to wear my entire Freya outfit, mask and hands included. I think the new partisan looks great for being a three day job with no idea what I was doing. ^^; I got Honorable Mention in the cosplay contest! Yay!
I met so many totally cool people there, including cosplay.com rosabella and A19Riku and their Larsa and Vayne, a cool Zidane, an Auron, a nice artist named Matt Page, a Death Note cosplayer (he was cosplaying the Death Note, I mean ^^

, a very sweet Ultima, and an FF11 dragoon cosplayer!
Rosabella and A19Riku and the rest of their group have to be the best cosplayers I have ever seen in person, and there were a lot of them at Anime Boston. They were so sweet in all of their poses. I'm glad they won Best Craftsmanship, Hall Prize 1st place, and Fan Favorite. They were certainly my favorites. I got to talk to them backstage for a long time about their costumes. It was very, very educational. I almost feel ready to start experimenting with boot covers for Kain. ^^;
There were lots of Phoenix Wright and Final Fantasy cosplayers, yay!
I got to meet Scott McNeil twice. Lucky me. ^^ He congratulated me on my Honorable Mention win after the contest when I went back to the con to see the amv entries. They never got shown, but it was worth going back. People recognized me as Freya even with only the hat on. ^^
The cosplay contest was a totally great experience for me. I got to talk to tons of cosplayers who knew tons about making anything and everything, so I think I learned a lot. ^^
Hmm.. what else.. I guess even though Metrocon was a smaller con than Anime Boston, I had way more fun at it ^^ Maybe the more you put into your effort for a con, the more you get out of it?
