DAMN THIS COSTUME! I really don't think I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided I wanted to do this costume. I've spent at least three months on the costume and there's still alot to be done. The sewing machine is still down, but after working at a friend's house I got alot of stuff done!

... It's less than a month away from AX, and I don't have much of the costume done at all. Damn. I really do hope i finish this in time. I need to get into mega work mode!

Also, today I received a really strange IM. I think it was a cosplayer also doing a Konata costume, and she asked me for costume help, which was cool but...her english wasn't that great and it was really hard to understand. @_@ I wasn't sure how to deal with it so I helped the best I can. There is only so much I can describe over the internet... I'm not sure she got the right idea. XD;;;

This is AWESOME! I've always wanted to have a journal for my progress and random blurbs about costumes, but I really don't visit any journal sites much. It's so convenient to finally have one at a site I visit quite regularly.

SO! Since this is my first entry, I guess I'd start with my current progress on my new costume for Anime Expo this year. I managed to finish sewing one of my sleeves last Thursday, but due to construction on the house, the sewing machine got moved and covered with dust. I decided to wait a bit until construction is about done so I don't have to risk getting my new costume dirty. I also wanted to start on the Obi today but alas, I couldn't find the fabric shears. I'll find it tomorrow, and at least cut out and iron on the interfacing. I really hope I finish this costume in time.

On another note: When is AX going to open the Masquerade registrations? Are they already up? It states that registration ends tomorrow. Is it like hidden or something?
