I've put it off. I need to decide between wet-look spandex for Rikku or a really cool banana yellow fabric with orange sheen I saw at Hancock. Hopefully I can get it this weekend if it's still there. Yuna's fabric is here but no start on anything yet. The hair tail has been abandoned until all of Death Note is done.

I didn't sleep right. Went to bed around 4:30, woke up close to 3 >_< I need to get up earlier from now on. My phone alarm hasn't been working for some odd reason. Bleh.

Death Note:

The pant lining for Near is still sitting with pins on my chair. Near's Near puppet was completed some time ago and early this morning I made Mello's base and what was going to be L's base. Mello's lines are uneven, but I baked him anyway. I decided to turn L into Matt and worked on him non stop for 2.5 hours through American Idol (go David Cook!!!) and Hell's Kitchen and part of the news. I had the base already ready and just did some basic sculpting for the head (since his vest covers his neck and part of his face). He's kind of uneven but..ah..oh well. His cigarette took forever! It wouldn't stay on the wire. Oh well. I'm finishing his hair today and starting to sculpt Mello's head. I'm afraid..it's detailed..more's required on it then Matt or Near. All the puppets are too heavy for my fingers >_< I'll have to be careful.

UPDATE:

....Yes, at 4:30 I'm still up. It's early and so I get the genius idea that I won't set the timer on the oven and I'll just keep my eye on the time while I bake Matt with his new hair...yea...I put him in at 4:02. Sculpey bakes for 15 minutes per 1/4" thickness. Having just added his hair I only needed to put him in for 10-15 minutes...I got him out of the oven at 4:25. Yea...he was smoking. Literally. Doesn't look too burned, luckily. Hopefully he won't crack as he cools. Thank God I remembered or else he would have been frying in the oven all night and probably would have caught on fire.

After the fire, he seems okay. Though I broke his cig. while doing his hair..I can't seem to fix it either.
