I am currently working on remaking quite a bit of my Cinderella Tohru artbook image for AWA this weekend. It is coming along rather well, I think. ^__^.v,
I just have the sleeves and collar to do, and a bit of detailing on the shirt and the apron. I cannot forget to pack Yuki, Kyo, and the feather duster Morgan made for me! XD
My costume lineup has not changed at this point, but I will probably not be able to participate in the Pokemon photo shoot on Friday, since I may arrive after it started, but I will try to make it! I am also bringing Saki Hanajima from Fruits Basket, too, just in case I want to change into something different.
I hope to meet a lot of C.com members this weekend!!

My first AWA...and my first out-of-state convention. I am both excited and nervous at the same time. It seems so weird to be to be nervous about a con. I am usually only nervous when it comes to entering the rare contest. Heh, it's funny. People out there have this weird impression of me that I am elitist and all that, when I have only entered...hmm....*counts* 7 or so contests (both cosplay and costume) in the 6 years I have been doing conventions, and I have not won a lot, LOL. I really don't care. Sure, it is disappointing to lose, but the winners are usually so amazing!! ^o^
Anyways, I digress. I am nervous due to the stigma Florida cosplayers have about being these crazed drama fiends. Sure, there are a few here, but are there not drama fiends everywhere? Why is Florida singled out? Because the ones here are just louder? That must be it. But, why punish all for the few? I do not want to be judged for something I am not a part of. I just live my life with who I want. Who cares?

Friday Night Formal - Gothic Mistress
Saturday - Cinderella Artbook Tohru (allowing I remake the shirt in time, otherwise I am wearing my Vampire Lolita)
Sunday - Alice from Disney's Alice in Wonderland
I am doing a Pokemon Photoshoot with PikaBelleChu on Friday at 2, since they are in need of a May, and I rearranged my schedule to accommodate. ^__^
I am also bringing my BJDs, so if you are into them, look me up. I love meeting new doll people!!! <3

Sweet, my first entry in my C.com journal is about my first full anime con (Megacon being half anime).
I plan to enter The Fight Card in the contest, so I need to polish that up and add a few things to it. Not really sure what else I am wearing at this point, but I really only need one more outfit, since I can't make Friday due to work (I am off Saturday-Monday and I don't really feel like working the day after a con, lol, so I can spend time with my friends!)
Maybe I will get around to finishing that Tohru costume that I have to remake the top for and polish it off....*ponders* and since that is unlikely, I will definitely think of a backup! But, what? Hmm.....
What irks me is that someone actually said, "Hey, Jamie, wear *insert costume* to AFO this year!" and I said, "Okay! That sounds like a plan!!" -.-;;
Heck, I may just pull out my METROCON mascot costume, since people keep bugging me to wear it more, lol. Or Alice. Who knows? I only live down the street from the con, I may decide something as soon as I wake up.
