Exams and school officially ended for me today. That's pretty sad, but it also means my life is free for cosplay. Official, out-in-the-open work can now begin on my Mayuri cosplay for the Midlands MCM Expo ^_^
I have also been toying with the idea of a Yoruichi cosplay, if I can get some nice heeled boots, I need a little more height to cosplay her with Ellie as Soi Fong (and tbh, Ellie needs to shrink.)
It would be cool to get two costumes done this summer... a tad optimistic, but it's good to have something to aim for.
For Mayuri's hat I was thinking, a papier maché and wonderflex skull cap and a wire frame with masking tape and wonderflex. Not sure how I'll work out the middle... I'll do some rough work and see how it goes...
I am using Yoki (on cosplay.com) as my inspiration, he does the most amazing Mayuri cosplay I have ever seen ^_^ I have all his cosplay photos printed out in my development book. They are a wonderful tool.
