The part I love about being a cosplayer is research on internet. I love research about ancient traditional costumes - juni hitoe, kimono, hanbook, Elizabethan costumes, medieval cotumes, you named it ^^ I love fashion. Same for Queen Esther Blanchett Costume. I researh in yahoo or google with : How sewing Elizabethan Costume. It came out with many result that lead me to the people, amazing people that put their hardwork in the internet. I just found many people sewed Tudor's costume. They have done it so perfectly and I keep scream and yelling WOW when I look at their pictures with their costumes.
OMG..so ...to make the Queen skirt look bigger. All Tudor's era wear Bumroll and Farthingale under their skirt. Could I make them? In the picture, Queen Esther wear white costume, she holds silver staff and little silver-blue ball and her skirt is so big and round. How about pearl? red pearl and white? Isn't it so heavy to bear for the skirt? I just bought a secondhand good of Bridal gown. It cost me three houndred thousand rupiahs or only thirthy dollar US. I want to use that Bridal gown into underwear, along with the petticoat. Maybe, it can make the skirt bigger and round. Just the thought though.
I am still doing research, and I do not want to hastily on making costumes. My dream is to make it beautiful and perfect. But that only a dream since I cannot sewing or make a pattern for sewing ;P
About the dark red rose of wig for Queen Esther, I cannot found it. The seller always push me to buy the burgundy wig's colour.Yes it is dark but its not dark red, forgodsake. Instead I bought a bright red wig. Cut it my self and I borrowed Cosmode magazine from My friend. Dear Magami31 Chan, Thank You so much *hugs* Cosmode Bonus-a little booklet revealed about how to dye wigs.
With Copic! I never thought about that? I used a real colour for real hair and could not do it. With Copic, I am still working on the wig to make it darker and look exactly the same with the manga's picture. Wish me luck cause I think, I'm not dong it in a right way. What the hell, just move forward.
In the mean time, I am working on Sara Trantoul 's Costume. Lucky me, at my work, there is Bridal division on the third floor. I am working on the 4th floor as Graphic Designer. Sometimes, I secretly came and take measures of the skirt of Bridal Gown on the statue. I brought my own measure's tape ;D The skirt of Sara Trantoul is the same as the skirt of A-Line with bustier of Bridal gown. I am not doing it yet. I already got the measures but to lazy to make a pattern for sew.
For (vampire Knight) Kaname Kuran's costume, I am still looking for the silver rose button. Dame (sorry for the curse), The Silver Rose Button, it's so hard to find. I don't find anywhere? Should I made it with clay? But with what to attach it and made it as a button? Still confused ;D
I still have doubt but well....... before I sew Queen Esther Blanchet's Costume or Kaname Kuran;s costume, I must practising by sewing Sara Trantoul's costume first.
There gonna be cosplay event that being held by Animonster Magazine, famous Magazine for in Indonesia. Famous among the people who loved anime and manga and tokusatsu too ^^ The Event on 1 March 2009 in JACC or JHCC TANAH ABANG, the place still not fix yet. But I hope it will not be place at ATRIUM SENEN-very dangerous place in Jakarta.
I want to wear Sara Trantoul costume in Animonster event called Animonster Aishiteru ^^
Wish me Luck Everybody...Break A Leg....and May God Bless You all and success of your project too. Ganbatte Minna San.
Just do it. Always move forward and don't look back.

Congrats to everybody that goes in too ^^ m(_ _)m *bow*
OMG...I could not believe it. I thought I could never get in. Everytime I send my picture, my yahoo email keep reports error.

I just cannot believe it. Inuyasha Family won. I never expected it. To bad, non of our team know because we go home earlier and left the JVO event.
I worked as Graphic Designer so, I cannot keep in touch with other member from Inuyasha Family team. So it is really surprised me when Nina Chan send me text message, told me that we won as second winner. OMG.
I am curious, Japanese people believe that Red and White Cloth bring you luck. Is it? Because it is not the first time I winning something when I wore Inuyasha costumes. Yippie...although it is already to late to claim the praize *sigh* Still can not believe it because other team have beautiful costumes too.
