My costume commissions start at $250 and go up from there. Single pieces, wigs, and accessories may be less. I currently work full time (40 hours a week) therefore I cannot do rush orders, for me a rush order is anything due in less than three months (for more complex costumes even more than three months may be required, this is on a case by case basis). Currently availability: Bookings: September 2015 - Booked October 2015 - Booked November 2015 - Open December 2015 - Open January 2015 - Open February 2015 - Booked March 2015 - Open April 2015 - Open May 2015 - Open June 2015 - Open How do you get a quote? EMAIL, and I repeat EMAIL, the following information to me at eveillecosplay@gmail.com. I WILL NOT respond to messages on here, I must keep track of everything and email is the best way. Character Name: Series: Budget: Due Date: Basic Measurements: (Bust, Waist, Hips, Height) (If these are not included I CANNOT give you a quote. Your measurements dictate how much I must purchase in fabric / supplies) Pieces Needed: (Whole Costume? Do you need a wig? Shoes? etc) At least three reference images (Please try to include a front, back, and side view of the whole costume. For anything original I need a concrete design showing all of this). ANY email without the above items will get no quote and a reply simply of "Insufficient information". I don't have the extra time to go hunting for this information so please make sure it is included in the initial email. What does a quote get you? When I send you back a quoted price this will include the cost of materials and labor costs for your costume, it WILL NOT include shipping. Keep in mind I work with quality materials with anything I make. I will note that I do look at your budget before I begin the process of itemizing the material costs for the quote for a costume. If your budget is unrealistic I will most likely send you an email stating so and will only go through with an actual quote if you still desire it, I'm just being honest but it helps me to reduce some of the hours spent quoting. I will do my best to stay within your budget but it isn't always possible. A breakdown of commission costs can be obtained upon request. Please give me minimum of a week to respond to your email for a costume quote please. This isn't my full time job. Things I do not do: Props Electronics Fursuits Payment: I require a 25% deposit upfront to hold your spot and begin the purchasing of materials. The remaining 75% is due a minimum of two weeks before the commission due date. I do payment plans! So you can pay off your commission over time up to the final due date. If you have any questions feel free to email me at eveillecosplay@gmail.com You can see all of my costuming work on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eveillecosplay XxEveillexX Mon, 03 Aug 2015 10:28:58 -0400 Now taking basic commissions $100-$199 http://www.cosplay.com/marketplace/showproduct.php/product/74920

by: skywalker23

Description: I am now accepting simple to medium difficulty costume commissions in addition to prop making. My name is Nic but my friends call me JD(long story ;p) I am now taking commissions!! I am very experienced with making all kinds of costumes and props. I have been cospaying for 10 years. You can see some of the costumes and props I have made in my album at http://s567.photobucket.com/albums/ss111/JDscosplay/ I also just set up an etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JDScosplay?ref=hdr_shop_menu I am very detailed and love to make complex, interesting costumes. Depending on the complexity of the costume, it usually only takes me 4-6 weeks to complete a project. I accept PayPal, money orders and checks from US banks only. Usually a 50% deposit is paid upfront and the rest of the payment should be paid when the order is complete, but if you want props or armor, I require 65-70% upfront as a deposit, because the basic cost and labor are higher fpr these items. To request a quote, please e-mail me (jdscosplay@gmail.com), Don't forget to inlcude the following : -Name of the character and series -**Reference Pictures** -The parts of the costume you need -Your Deadline Thank you for your interest!! I have been cosplaying for over 7 years and am a highly experienced seamstress. I have made many wonderful costumes for myself, my friends, and many fellow cosplayers. You can see pictures of my work at http://photobucket.com/cosplaymandy and my etsy shop link at https://www.etsy.com/shop/cosplaymandy?ref=hdr_shop_menu Please also like my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cosplaymandy-commission/796902850375905?ref=aymt_homepage_panel I always do my best to ensure 100% satisfaction on all my costumes (check out my comments)!! My costumes are very detailed and well made and I always use high quality fabrics. I am very experienced with many fabric types (including Lycra and synthetic leather). I am also able to get a wide range of different materials such as denim, wool, and cashmere to make my costumes more accurate. I can make just about any costume and I love a challenge. The more detailed and creative, the better!! I get a bit obsessive about projects, so it usually takes me about two months to make a costume! I also make high quality props and custom shoes professionally and I can get unstyled wigs at a discounted price, so I offer the entire cosplay package at a low price. Here is a link to my prop gallery http://photobucket.com/cosplaymandyprops I am also now accepting plushie commissions!!!! Please email me at cosplaymandy@gmail.com for a quote. Don't forget reference pictures please!!! Please also let me know the due date, what parts of the costume you need and your approximate budget. As far as payment is concerned, I accept paypal, money orders and checks from US banks and am always willing to work out a payment plan. I am from San Diego, but I go to school in Shanghai, so costumes will often ship from China. I try my best to estimate shipping costs, but often there is no way for me to know the cubic size or weight of the package until everything is completed. This is especially true of props. Also, props take up a lot of space in my studio and I have recently had some issues with customers not paying the shipping fees in a timely manner. Therefore, if the final payment and shipping payment are not paid within two weeks from the date of completion, a $1/day storage fee will be charged. Thanks!! I have more than 20 years experience in designing and sewing Outfits. I love what I do and I am easy to work with. You can see some of my work on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/reba.collections This is how I work: I require half of the full amount quoted for the pieces you wish commissioned in order to start the project. The balance of the amount is due at the end of the project, along with the shipping fee. The balance can be paid in full at the end of the project or by installments up to the point of paying off the full amount at the end of the project. When the project has been finished, I will email you final pictures and the balance and the shipping fee is due then. Once I receive the funds, I will mail out the outfit, accessories or props commissioned. **PLEASE GIVE AMPLE TIME WHEN ORDERING A COMMISSION. SOME PEOPLE ARE REQUESTING COMMISSIONS RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE THEY FEAR THAT THE COMMISSIONER WILL NOT COMPLETE THEIR PROJECT. THEREFORE RISKING BAD/POORLY MADE PROJECTS** I need the following information: Character Reference Pictures Deadline Budget Gender Location being sent to Details about the project Measurements The Price quoted includes materials, workmanship, Paypal fees, etc. Once you have sent me the half of the full amount deposit, then I set aside a space within my schedule for your project. That first half deposit is not refundable because this amount will go automatically towards materials and other starting fees. I like to discuss the entire project in details before starting because once the pattern work has started, no major changes are allowed. I normally email you pictures once the pieces look decent, almost finished or finished. This is because I have had the experience of showing work in progress and the customer not understanding work in progress process and therefore, slows me down, delays the work and then I have to rush at the end to still meet the deadline. I am here to answer your questions, keep communication and make the commission process as easy as possible. I hope to be able to help you with your next Cosplay Outfit, Accessories or Props. My name is Ayuki (Ayu for short) and I am a new commissioner in the world of cosplay. Although I have been making clothes and costumes for myself and for friends and family for around 4 years now, after several recommendations and suggestions from my friends, I have decided to open up my service to everyone! As of now, I don't have a lot of cosplay outfits in my portfolio but as you can see, I make very acceptable clothes, whether they are for casual wear or for more formal wear. I like to think that my prices are reasonable as well (usually being around $80-$300) but we can always negotiate on price! I can also usually do rush jobs, as long as you give me at least 2-3 weeks of notice. If you are interested in commissioning a costume from me please email me reference pictures as well as this form filled out: Price Range: Deadline: Character Name: Location: (just the zip code is okay too) Reference Pics: Miscellaneous: Any other specifics you want me to know, like "just the skirt please" or "please make the shirt a little longer" My email is aynimechu@gmail.com and that's where I will reply the fastest so please contact me there. I look forward to working with you! *Edit: For some reason, cosplay.com is not allowing me to upload any pictures but I can send my previous works to you. If anyone can help with this problem I would appreciate it! Its not too late to get a wig for Otakon ;) Hello! My name is Quinn, I've been cosplaying for 6 years and I've been doing commissions for a while. I've made 25 costumes for myself and others. I have experience sewing, pattern drafting, doing complex embroidery, making props, making armor, pretty much every area of cosplay making! Above are some of the examples of my work. You can also check out my page here: https://www.facebook.com/killmondaycos If you're interested in a commission of any sort- A full costume, pieces, props, wigs, etc- please email me at q.wilbert@gmail.com. I'll need a lot of information to get started, so you can use this form as a guide: Name: Character/Series: Deadline: Budget: Reference Pictures: I will need as many reference pictures as you can find! Keep in mind that depending on the complexity of the commission, I will require at least 2 months working time. Also, if you aren't sure about your budget just make sure to give me as much information about the commission you're looking for, I'll give you a general price estimate and we can discuss it from there. I make sure to maintain contact with costumers who commission me, send regular updates with progress photos, and include you every step of the way to make sure your cosplay turns out just the way you want it! I take payment through paypal, and since commissions usually aren't cheap, you can pay in parts however works best for you! I will at least need the total cost of materials to get started, and I'll need the total price to be paid before I ship out the final product. Thanks!! I have been cosplaying for 5 years now and have been crafting armors and costumes for 4 and half years now. I posted some of my commissioned works and some of my cosplay as sample. To see more, please check my page www.facebook.com/Aerimon Smile I specialize on form fitting armors, mecha, organic and irregular armor type of costumes or any armored type costumes. Also making a variety of props. I also specialize on painting jobs on costume, very keen to details that I want the costumes to be as accurate and movable as possible. I mainly use Eva foam as materials but is currently working on thermoplastics and other materials. I can sew simply items but I do not accept complicated fabric type of costumes because I am not well skilled in that area. If you are interested to get something quoted from me, you can send me a message here or on my page. Terms of Condition I require at least 50% to 70% downpayment and do accept payment plan. Work time depends of the amount of workload and how complex the commissions are. For props 3 to one month For costume at least 3 months I do accept rush order but I charge additional fee for it. Ships worldwide Shipping is via DHL, Fedex or EMS. Depends upon request of the client. Shipping fee shall be shouldered by the client. I do not accept returns. I will not be responsible for any loss or damages in case the item was mishandled by the courier. No cancellation of orders once downpayment has been made. In case the client decides to cancel, the downpayment will not be returned. If the costume does not fit the client, I will not be responsible for any return and alteration because I guide my clients whenever I asked for their measurements. I only base and work with the measurements given to me. I often give additional allowance just to make sure it will fit. So before the construction begins, it is the responsible of the client to give the correct measurements and if there are measurements that they are confused with I encourage them to ask early on. I encourage client to send feedback with their picture wearing the costume once they have received the item. Commissioning me, means that you agree on my terms and conditions above. I hope to help make your dream cosplay come true and share the joy of wearing them Smile Thank you and have a great day! At this time I will not be taking on orders with a deadline before August 31st. What you're looking for: A well-made and high quality costume that doesn't fall apart within a couple wears. When you commission me, you aren't only paying for a well-made costume but you're working with someone who actually has a BFA in Fashion Design and has industry sewing experience. I tend to make things with wearability in mind to create the most flattering and aesthetically pleasing result. What you're paying for: I have a fixed $15/hour rate, and I have calculated this rate based on my knowledge and capabilities. I ask for a 50% upfront deposit based off of a quote I have estimated for you. Please understand that often times the original quote will vary from the final labor cost, as it is difficult to estimate exactly how long your commission will take to complete. Because of this, I will not accept full payments up front since the quote is purely an estimate to prepare you for how much you will need to put aside. I do not accept rush orders. Please make sure you make your request at least 2 months prior to your deadline. My specialties include: Complicated textile-based garments, custom fitted garments, patternmaking, professional garment finishes, spandex and stretch fabrics, original designs, hand-dyeing and digital textile designs, and fabric manipulation. Anything involving props, armor making, electrical components such as EL wire, corsetry, or leather work I would highly suggest looking for someone else who specializes in those sort of things since I am most confident in my textile and sewing abilities. Please message me for a quote and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for looking! My name is Caitlin, also known as Adaria. I have been sewing for over ten years and I am professionally trained as a costume designer and costume craftswoman from High Point University. I graduated in December 2012 with my degree in Technical Theatre and since then have run my own business through Etsy starting in early May. Prior to, I designed costumes for our local theatre companies! I am very proud of my work and always looking forward to new challenges proposed to me by my wonderful clients. It is currently best to contact me via my website; adaria-designs.com You will reach me fastest using the quote form on said website, or contacting my email directly at caitlin.margolien@gmail.com Please note that contacting me directly without the information I require as listed on www.adaria-designs.com will otherwise ensure you do not get a reply at all. I do not have the time to ask for your information as it is posted clearly on my site. You can also find my work as posted on tumblr. I am the Adaria Designs. The images I post on tumblr are often only of my completed costumes, with very little information on the costume itself. Though I am always happy to answer any questions about my construction process and assist new cosplayers in any way I can! If you want to see in-progress photos of costumes I have worked on in the past, or follow me while I work on yours, I have a more casual Facebook! I am currently only taking orders for July 2015 and beyond! I can take small projects, wigs, accessories and props immediately as they will not require much time to prepare for, but a larger costume will be unable to fit into my schedule at this time and thus needs to be scheduled for the upcoming fall. Now, onto information about my work itself... What To Expect When Emailing Me I like to get all of the details up front, before I begin working, and so when you send me a request, I will reply as quickly as I can with a list of questions that come to mind while I do a bit of research on the costume. It is likely you will get "a book" in response, as I am very thorough, so please keep this in mind when you're contacting me. I am not a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants commissioner. I want to know every detail, every stitch you want me to put into your costume. It is yours and I am merely the hand crafting it. Now, I realize not everyone knows or understands the process of sewing and creating clothing, which is also why I ask so many questions. We don't always think about the construction process, especially if we do not know where to begin or what that entails. I will work out with you everything down to how you will get into the costume, if it's complicated. At the time of writing this, I am in contract with a client looking for a ballgown, which will consist of a corset, crinoline, and the dress itself which will come in two parts. We have discussed how she'll dress underneath, how she'll put the costume on, and how she will move in it--and she doesn't even have the costume yet. I want you, my client, to know exactly what is happening as if you were making this for yourself. I wouldn't have it any other way, either. Payment The following information is a basic layout of how I go about quoting and pricing commissions. You can see further detail on my website, adaria-designs.com

I currently charge $20 per hour. Labor hours are estimated and includes travel and shopping for materials, and the build of the costume. If asking for a costume that I feel is worth more of my time I will discuss a higher cost per hour.
I request a $100 non-refundable scheduling fee, which holds your place on my schedule. This $100 will go toward my labor (about 5 hours worth, which covers my time in research and shopping), but will not be returned to you should you have to cancel. (It is unfortunate I have to ask for a holding fee, and say these things, but I have been canceled on and as such have had to take measures not to lose money.)
You are responsible for the payment of all materials; fabric, thread, etc. If, for example, I make an estimate of needing $100 in materials, and only spend $80, the remaining $20 will be put toward my labor, and you will have to pay less in the end!
You are responsible for the payment of shipping and handling. Normally, this cost is about $40, depending on where in the USA you live. If you live outside of the USA, that will obviously reflect in the cost of shipping. The estimated $40 also covers the box, which I have to purchase on the day of shipping, as I do not have boxes on hand. It also covers shipping insurance, for if in case the post office loses the package in the mail, we will be refunded.
There is a 2.9% transaction fee that Paypal charges to be used, which I also require my clients to pay. When I send an invoice to request money, it will include whatever that percentage is.
Finally, I require the payment for materials quoted plus half of my labor estimation to be paid up front. If I estimate $100 in materials and 20 hours in labor, I will request $227 (includes transaction fee). Likewise with the non-refundable fee, this is largely required now due to my having lost money in the past on canceled sales midway in production. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your $10 holding fee will come out of your final payment! Know that I am a flexible person, and if you request a costume that is going to take 100 hours, and cannot pay for 50 hours up front (because that is a lot!) I fully understand and I am happy to work out something else with you that is in your price range.
Sassy Stitches Wed, 29 Apr 2015 18:44:31 -0400 Now taking basic commissions $100-$199 http://www.cosplay.com/marketplace/showproduct.php/product/73833

by: skywalker23

Description: I am now accepting simple to medium difficulty costume commissions in addition to prop making. I was a theatre major in University, with an emphasis on costume design, and I designed and made costumes for several theatrical productions. Since graduating, I have done film work and have won multiple awards for craftsmanship for my costumes. Availability: Right now I am booked through June but can possibly take rush orders. Materials: I use only high quality materials, such as cotton twill, duchesse satin, and poplins for costumes. If I use it on a commission, I would use it on a costume for myself. I am open to hear what materials you are interested in using and can make recommendations as well. I can do cloth costumes, some wigs (I don't do spiky/super structured foam core wigs), and some accessories/jewelry (inquire for details). I do not do full body suits, armor or fur suits as I do not have experience in these. We're Amanda and Sydney. We've both been sewing (and cosplaying!) for over 10 years. We'e also each got 5 years of experience sewing professionally with both working for other companies and with our own private commissions. Designing and sewing recreations of pictures is our passion, hence our long term love of cosplay, and we’d love to use that to help you get whatever costume you’ve been looking for! Our specializations included pattern making, alterations, fabric painting, and beading. Everything we do is hand-made in Bryan/College Station, Texas or Carrboro, North Carolina. If you are local to Bryan/College Station we're more than happy to schedule fittings in person. We're also happy to do fittings and alterations for costumes/formal wear you’ve received from elsewhere. We're committed to quality, and strive to make every detail to your exact desire, therefore we do make a note to send out fabric samples to you for you to approve before beginning your costume. We are currently running a promotion! If you send us a picture of you wearing something made by us that you’re willing to have in our portfolio you’ll receive 15% ($100 limit), off your next purchase! There is no past time restrictions, so it can be a costume we made for you months (or years!) ago! Will run at least until the end of August 2015. Our services start at $18/hr and we do require material costs or a minimum of $50 up front in the event you are providing materials. After that we welcome payment plans; however we need the final payment before shipment. We do ship internationally! Check out our deviantart page for more of our work: http://multifacetedtune.deviantart.com/ Feel free to either message us here, there, or at Amanda's personal email: agitzke0714@gmail.com. Thanks!! I am a three time award winning seamstress. I have been sewing for nearly a decade now for the sole purpose of cosplaying. That's all I do! I don't do cosplay props, shoes, wigs, etc. At this time I am doing a limited number of cosplay commissions. I'm trying to work on my commission portfolio, which I'm offering a once-in-a-life-time opportunity for any of you cosplayers out there. With building up my portfolio (and commissioner feedback with completed pictures worn by you), I am offering that you will only have to pay for material costs & shipping fees to help with this process as long as you are able to leave a feedback on here and on my facebook page. I will not take everyone who requests but only the cosplays I will be able to handle. I want to show a wide range of different type of cosplays. I will most likely only do two or three per month, until my portfolio is completed. Requests can be made by messaging me on cosplay.com, etsy and/or through email at tsukeruu@gmail.com. Please fill out the form below: Name/Handle: Email & contact: Character name & series: Reference pictures: Measurements: Deadline: Miscellaneous: While inquiring about a commission, you must provide me between two to five (or more) official images of the character you are requesting. Please provide me with as many angles of the character as possible. I will not accept any references of other cosplays or cosplayers. I will base my estimate on those images that you have provided me with. I also will need basic measurements such as shirt size (small, medium, large...) with your pant size (8, 10, 12, 14, etc...) to be able to give you an accurate quote. I will ask for complete measurements once we finalize our contract. You must provide me with a deadline. Some people do not have deadlines for their costumes, which is ok by me – but you must state that in the form. I usually work pretty fast when it comes to commissions but when you factor in possible alterations or shipping, things can come up. Please allow a time frame at least two to three months (if not longer) for a turn-a-round sewing time so I can complete your costume. Sometimes it may be quicker or sometimes it may be longer than that but that will come up with each individual case. I highly recommend having your deadline no later than three to four weeks before your event so your costume can arrive to you before you have to pack. I will sometimes take a “rush order” (which is less than two months from your deadline), but it will depend on the circumstance. Each “rush order” will have a $50.00 rush fee added on to your quote. Keeping all of this in mind, if you want certain materials for your cosplay, please state so! I only choose the best materials for each and every commission. If you want a certain zipper style, a matching purse, a plush as a prop, I can do these things. I need to know before you email me so I can give you an accurate quote. Please state in the miscellaneous section of which parts (or the whole cosplay) you will need. Also, if you are on a budget please state so! I can work with each and everyone of you to make your dream cosplay come true. As far as what I do, I only sew! I do not do is armor, wigs, props or cosplay shoes but I do have a wide range of abilities from anywhere from making backpacks, hats, purses, plushies and other crafty items. I also do not do any sorts of embroidery as of right now. If you are unsure if I am able to commission, please ask! I will only answer serious requests. Hi everyone! I will be opening up some commission slots! I can do anything from your basic uniform to a full ball gown. I've done them all! I have experience since 2008 in sewing mine and my friends costumes. I also went to school for fashion design and went on to do technical costume design. I have the schooling and experience for me to complete your costume! The only thing I ask is no armor or shoes (shoe covers are fine). It is quite difficult to ship that with risk of breaking. I will be sticking to fabric based pieces. If you wish to contact me, please do so at jennalynnmaclellan@gmail.com or by my tumblr page https://www.tumblr.com/blog/jennacosplaypatterns or by PMing me on cosplay.com! The process will go like this: 1. Give me a brief description on what costume you want, and what your rough budget is. I will message you back with the price I can work with, until we come to a conclusion. (this will greatly differ if you want a cheap costume, or a more accrate one. Main difference will be fabric choice) 2. I will require a deposit of about 30% to make sure both you and I are committed. 3.I will begin the process of making your costume 4. After sending you some in progress pics, If everything is to your liking and mine, I will then require the remainder of the money and the shipping cost. 5. I will finish and then send it off to you.
