I'm the one all my friends come to when they need a wig and I'd finally like to get paid for the service ^^; My names Novaraven, or Nova, or "hey it's count D again!" I have been cosplaying for...way too long for me to mention cause then I'll look old.
I've finally decided that I can take in a few commissions. I have some free time and I find wigs are always my favorite and most relaxing part of costuming.
I always try for character accuracy, but I can hold back and do something more natural if that is your preference.
I also do ears sewn to wigs or ears on headbands if you need either to go with the wig. And dreadfalls, can't forget the fun of those!
My prices are fair as I understand cosplaying is a huge hole in all our wallets. Materials and shipping cost, plus flat rate styling fee (30$ for short wigs, 60$ for long or hugely spiked styles, extra for a dye job depending on the wig)
A note about materials, I include the shipping cost to get the materials to me in your cost, and also, if your wig happens to take ten cans of extra hold hairspray to make it stay you will have to pay for all ten cans. I don't keep extras lying around here, I have to go out and buy stuff for each new project.
I will not start working on a wig until you send me the money for at least the base wig and it's shipping cost to me. Styling fee, other material costs and shipping fee to you can be paid once you see pics of the finished product.
I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. (hence why I have nothing better to do) It's not likely you can come to me, so I do accept paypal and will ship worldwide. (on a wig head if needed)
