I have WAY too many costumes, so my least favorites have to go. First up is my Juliet dress.
I made this costume for a competition (AX 2007, to be precise) so it is as accurate and cleanly constructed as I could manage. All fabrics are pre-washed, and all seams are finished by zigzag or other means. The top is lined in the front and back with soft white cotton, and the same fabric was used to make the underskirt.
The skirt is made from a peach polyester, trimmed in gold silk and wine-red sateen at the hem. The petticoat and overskirt are sewn into the same waistband (very convenient!). The skirt zips up the back.
The top is made from several different types of cotton and silk. The details at the neckline are the hallmark of this costume. The white portion was neatly topstitched, and the gold portion was painstakingly applique stitched. You won't find another Juliet top like this anywhere! The sleeves are puffed at the top and fitted below, flaring out just a bit at the wrists. BTW, the orange is not nearly as vibrant IRL as it seems to be in pictures. It's more of a dull rusty orange.
Juliet's outfit is finished by a white rope belt (ties in the back) and a red jewel as decoration on the belt (custom made!)
Also included with the costume is a Linda XXL wig in Fire Red custom styled to look just like Juliet's hair! This wig is still in great condition, and as most cosplayers know, Linda XXL is one of the best, most long-lasting cosplay wigs around.
So basically, everything you need to make your Juliet cosplay perfect this con season is included here except for the shoes!
Sizing
This costume was created for a model that was approximately 5'9" or 5'10". Her measurements were 38"/30"/38". I'm about the same measurements, but I am a few inches shorter than her (5'8"). You can see in the photo of me wearing the dress that the sleeves have wrinkled up a bit. That's because her arms are longer than mine.
So, since I bet the majority of you are not as tall as me (let alone her!), I am willing to modify the sleeve and skirt lengths for an additional fee. (We'll discuss how much if you decide to purchase it.) I would prefer not to change the actual fit of the outfit, as I think it can fit a wide variety of sizes thanks to the rope belt and hidden skirt waistband.
If you do decide that you want the skirt and sleeve lengths shortened, please allow a few weeks for me to get that done. I am currently without a sewing machine, and it may be a few weeks before I can get a new one.

I spent a considerable amount of time on this costume, making it as clean and accurate as possible for competition. Please remember this before you make an offer.

Shipping
Shipping in the US will be via Priority Mail with Insurance (delivery time usually in 2-3 days). I will give you a more accurate quote once I have your zip code, but I don't anticipate it being more than $20.
Shipping internationally will ONLY be done via EMS. IMO it is the only safe option for international shipments from the US post office. It is very expensive! Expect to pay $40-50 for shipping.
If you don't need any modifications I'll probably be able to ship this out within a week of receiving payment. If you do need modifications, please read my note above.
