How soon, how big, and any details you could on what kind of paint job you want could help in deciding how easy this project would be.

no real time limit so far, normal size for adult male and if you can, as close as what this one http://ro-es.truesource.info/pics/item/big/5069.gif looks like but like like naruto's face markings and the black around the eyes like you see on the kyuubi on it and the paint job deep dark blood red (but not too dark) with black markings

Okay. I think that is do able. I have an above average head myself. -is male and 23- So if it's nearly big enough for me it should fit you perfectly. Do you want it to tie behind the head like those, and if so would you prefer fabric or yard/string/elastic to hold it on you? I think I can make it blood red and look like the Kyuubi. I'll work on a sketch so I can get an idea before I paint. It may be a good thing there's no time limit. I wont have the money to buy all the supplies I need till this weekend. But eh.
Let's see... what else do I have to ask.
You said you didn't care what it was made out of so long as it was sturdy... I am in the process of making some masks that are kind of a compressed paper with varrious layers of tape, glue, paints, sealants and a few other things. When the process is done the mask should be able to take a decent amount of punishment.
Are there any major allergies I should know about, to sealants, paints, types of adheasives?
Do you want me to try to put in fangs like Naruto gets in his released -kyuubi- form?
Do you mind if I try to give it a tad bit of a kyuubi shape to the sides or do you want it as rounded as a regular Ambu mask?

yes tie behind please and it to be elastic.
no allergies to those and yes to the fangs but can i see the design of it before you add them in case i like it done another way.
oh and the naruto marking i like them to look like the way they do when he is in the kyuubi form
i love it if it is the kyuubi shape, the more features of the kyuubi the better while still looking like a form of kitsune mask

Okay. I think the elastic is do-ible while keeping it a tie behind project. Any preference on fabric color that goes around the elastic?
I think the parkings like they appear on his kyuubi form would be very fitting and probably easily adapted.
I can probably have a sketch of the idea in a day or so, if I don't have it by then poke me /pm me/ and I'll load it to my da account so you can see the basic idea of what I'm working on and you can let me know of changes you want. Since I have NO idea on how to load pictures to this site... -just joined an hour ago so I could reply to your request. -smiles-
Let's see... anything else I need to know before I start looking at my kyuubi pictures to start getting ideas....
Ah, about what price you wanting to pay for this, and where abouts are you in the usa/world so I can guestimate how much shipping will be. I'll probably use a delivery service as apposed to regular mail. I find the services deliver faster.
When I start the actual construction of the mask I'll start taking photos and try to keep you up to date on the production so you can know how far done it is and what it looks like. I can't think of any more questions from me... anything you would like to add?

lol thats fine with me since i don't know how to post pics on here either and i am on da a lot
around $20-$40 depending on how well the mask looks and i may up it depending on how well it looks and i live in Australia

hum... not sure on shipping there... I'll have to see how much UPS will charge for that shipping.
And the price is good to me. I'll start sketching out a design concept for the mask. My goal is to also make it so it can be breath through, so I'll probably make a kind of "air hole" in the face but hide it so it doesn't show very easily.
I hope you enjoy how it looks in the sketches as well as how it looks in the photos after I start. -smiles- I don't know if you watch bleach but I have a mask made after Sora Inoue's hollow form drying in my window right now. I'm about half done with the base of it. -da account is notsalony as well- Any other props you're interested in?
I think the paint job and the sewing and fitting of the fabric will take the longest out of this. Any other symbols or anything you want put on it or on the inside, since i plan to also paint/treate the inside of the mask as well?

i watch bleach but only liked ichigo's mask but don't want it and just so you know my da account is kyubi-lover and the only thing i can see thats not a screencapture, drawing and stuff like that is the hollow castle

Not added any pictures yet of anything I'm working on da yet. But I'll try to as soon as I flush out this idea.
Yeah... I can try. I have a decent picture of that, ever tried to paint it before... but I can try. -nods- I'll check for any more messages when I wake up later. As it is... it's time for me to crash. Been up too long. -smiles-
But yeah I'll try to get a good sketch of the idea I have done today and scanned in and up on da, I'll let you know when it's up.
