Description: This wig is BRAND NEW. Bought it for a cosplay but the color was off. Tags were cut off because I didn't think the replacement wig would come in time. This wig has an auburn reddish sheen but is closer to being called a dark brown. The photos don't do it justice, the fibers are great quality and the waves are still in perfect shape.

Is the color of the wig totally accurate in the photo? It looks a little purple from the image, and I was wondering if that was the true color.

Nah it's a dark brown. I wouldn't even consider it close to mauve or maroon. Could just be my camera making it seem purple-ish.
