This is a MAPLE brand wig. Maple is a high-quality Japanese wig provider whose wigs are ONLY available to those currently in Japan. This company does NOT ship overseas so unless you are in Japan or know someone currently in Japan who can ship to you, it is impossible to get Maple wigs. I recently had a friend purchase a lot of Maple wigs for me and this wig ended up being the wrong style for what I wanted. So I am offering it up for sale.
Maple wigs are on par with Cyperous wigs for fiber quality and weft quality. I've never seen another wig company I like so much as Maple. The fibers are extremely soft, very easy to style, and are nearly impossible to tangle. I've had my cat knock over one of my long Maple wigs and go to town on it, and it combed out with no trouble and still looks perfect. (Luckily for my cat.) The wefts are tight and very close together. All in all, this is an exceptional quality, thick wig.
The wig for sale is a punky style in a blend of two different reds, F2 and F19. You may view Maple's color chart here -- http://www.maple-wig.com/colorchart/index.html This is the shorter version of the two punky wigs Maple offers, the longest weft measuring 5 inches at the nape of the neck and the shortest measuring 3 and 3/4 inches at the top of the head (vertical length). This wig IS a bit shorter than the traditional Punky sold by both Cosworx and Amphigory, but with both companies sold out of this style, this is a good alternative for someone who can use a shorter punky-style wig.
This wig is great for spiking. The photos shown turned out a little bit more orange than the wig's actual color -- you can see it in action in the attached photo. It's a beautiful bright red color that manages to be attractive and even natural instead of clownish. The wig I'm wearing in the cosplay picture is the slightly longer version, and was NOT dyed, just hit with a little hairspray and blow-dried! It seriously took no more than 20 minutes to style.
This wig has never been worn, styled or dyed and comes in its original packaging and netting. I am selling it for my purchase price of $55 dollars plus $5 priority mail shipping with a tracking number included if you live in the USA.
