One of my earliest and most loved works. The pictures don't necessarily do it justice, since my camera has such terrible lighting options.
The costume itself holds up well, but as I said, it is one of my earliest works, so some of the stitches are a little bit under perfect. The only notable part is the inner pieces of the shoulders, where the stitches are somewhat less-than-straight and some of that happens in the back, too, around the zipper.
If you're looking for a very, very fun dress that's perfect for parties or cons, then this is an extremely vibrant dress and none of the smaller imperfections in stitch lines are noticable in pictures or from more than a few feet away.
This costume includes the dress (a floating-sleeve golden satin bodice with a corset-style black suede midsection with five black buttons, and a flowing teal satin skirt, perfect for fitting on top of a crinoline. Also includes the matching teal bowtie and large, teal tophat.
