Good for armor making, tough yet flexible and thin.
I originally got it to work on a prop according to Amethyst Angel's tutorials, which recommends it. This is a good chance to not buy in a bulk sheet.
item description: #4331
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog_name=usplastic&category_name=76&product_id=3008
I had to buy a bulk styrene sheet (40x72 inches) from usplastic.com and i can't use it all, so I can sell it in pieces. (i would rather not ship out in giant pieces myself, it's pretty huge. the sheet itself was around $15 total because of shipping and came in a giant box.)
The price is per normal 9"x12" sheet.
shipping will be calculated according to your address and if you want beyond this size. (example: just one sheet should total about $1.25)
if you want it all in one piece, I'll have to change the shipping accordingly (since i can't use a normal sized envelope.) but it still should be fairly cheap.
just send out an email, pm, or comment
with the size you need, and how you would like it cut,
and I will try and help you in any way possible.
I have a LOT of this (let's just say, the whole thing) and you can pretty much have whatever size you like.
Paypal only please.
thanks for looking~

it can be flexed and then glued into place, and cut easily, but as for making solid bends/dents that stay in that shape on its own, I would think it would take more controlled pressure to shape it in that way. I think most people use it by cutting it (easy to cut) into certain pattern shapes and then bending and gluing without harsh creases.

Hey, do you think I could bend this enough that it forms a rounded shoulder armour like Clouds/sephiroths?
It seems pretty handy

I don't think it's very good to make spherical shaped armor, but more like prisms and more polygonal shapes, with curves at best like a cylinder shape. I suppose some armor examples would be like princess zelda.
It's probably not thick enough in the first place to really use only to make armor alone; Amethyst Angel's materials list talks about styrene on this page:

Would this be okay to use for the front of KH2 Demyx's sitar? I just need a flat piece that would be able to be cut and glued onto the front.
