Description: This is a lovely dress that Sophie wears at the beginning of Howl's Moving Castle. It is made of a linen blend to give it a soft, supple flow, and is hand-dyed to achieve that admittedly gross color that Sophie seems to prefer in her wardrobe.


The dress has a puffed waist- meaning there is a hidden tie inside that secures around your natural waist, allowing the bodice to billow over the top. The back closure is a zipper. The skirt is full and very comfortable to wear. This costume also includes Sophie's hat, which is made of a stiffened straw hat.

-petticoats


Fitting is pretty free for this costume- the waist could fit anywhere between a 22-30, probably even bigger. The bust fits anywhere from a small to a larger medium. The hip is free. This dress is basically a sack.
