What got you into cosplay?
I've always had a fascination with costumes and I find cosplaying as fictional characters to be completely amazing!
What was your first costume and why?
My Slytherin student outfit. It was easy to put together and with the last book release it was a great opportunity to try it out.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I like all of my costumes because they each have a background story of their own and have such wonderful memories with them.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
If I knew how to make my own costumes, I'd definitely be a Sailor Sakura. I already designed a sailor senshi outfit for Haruno Sakura from "Naruto." ^_^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably cosplaying as Haruno Sakura from Naruto: Shippuuden with my boyfriend who cosplayed as Uchiha Sasuke. We were pretty popular at ACen with the Naruto fans and the outfit is so much fun to wear. ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
What was your best masquerade experience?
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I won a cosplay contest at fye's Anime Spectacular for my Orochimaru (Sound Jounin) costume.
Tell us a little about yourself
Well, first off, most people call me Lin or Linny Binny. I am a strong-hearted person and believe wholeheartedly in the phrase, "Faith, Hope, and Love." I have a wonderful family, amazing close friends, and a handsome, loving, honest boyfriend named Dan. <3
I enjoy drawing, coloring, photography, exercising, video games, board games, costumes/cosplay, reading, sleeping, eating, organizing, cleaning (for the most part), being with my family, hanging out with my friends, being with my boyfriend, chillin' on the computer, texting, IMing, shopping (when it's not my money), and enjoying life as much as I can.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I have a large interest in mythical/fantasy stories/creatures, such as fairies, unicorns, pegasus, dragons, goddesses, centaurs, etc. That also stems into my reading habits, although I do read some non-fiction. I love the color green, especially emerald. I prefer cats over dogs, but I hold no grudge against canines. Music is definitely a passion of mine, although I have no particular talent of my own in that department. My artistic abilities are more visual, such as drawings and photography.
