What got you into cosplay?
Seeing all the amazing costumes at Anime Boston 2007 made me want to make one myself. I was really psyched.
What was your first costume and why?
Freya Crescent of FF9. I really liked her character a lot and not so many people cosplay her. My absolute favorite character is Kain Highwind from FF4, but I decided there was no way I could start on plate armor when I didn't even know how to sew.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I've only completed Freya's so far. ^^;
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
FF4 Kain Highwind's new Amano/cutscene armor. It's so gorgeous... and so impossible... ^^; I'm alotting myself two years to complete it. Maybe I'll do easier things in the meantime, but I'm going to start working on it this weekend!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Only had one... Anime Boston 2008. It was amazing. So many people recognized me as Freya even without the mask. I met a lot of cool people because of the costume.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Never done one. ^^;
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope.
Tell us a little about yourself
Attending Wellesley College. Major is Japanese Language and Literature. Going to attend Japan Women's University next year in Tokyo.

Final Fantasy, pretty much all of them. ^^
FF4 was my favorite, but I had fun playing 7, 9, 10, and 11, too. Currently working my way from 1 to 6 on the portable systems.
