What got you into cosplay?
A lot of my friends were into going to anime conventions and my best friend took me to Ushicon 4. That's where I first saw everyone dressed up and I felt so left out so I decided it would be really cool to make my own costumes. I actually ended up b orrowing an original costume from a friend at that con but I didn't make my own cosplay until a year later at the same convention.
What was your first costume and why?
Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. I never quite finished it because I never was able to find a wig for it and so I just abandoned it.
My next cosplay after that must have been Alice in Wonderland but it's been so long I honestly can't remember.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I would have to say Akihiko Sanada because the rest of the group just makes the group cosplay amazing. It was so much fun being in a cosplay contest for the first time and getting my picture taken so much.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I want to make Orpheus from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. Also, I have had plans for a long time to make Caroline from Paradise Kiss but I have never gotten around to it.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have participated in one and definitely will participate in the future.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
At my first Masquerade my two friends and I were awarded Best Group Walk-on for our Persona 3 cosplay.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
For some reason I mostly cosplay male characters as you can see. I'm not sure why but I find it fun. It happens to be especially fun when people ask to feel your crotch in order to determine your actual sex (yes, this has happened to me). It amuses me that I'm able to confuse and in some cases completely fool people (at least until they hear my voice, I have to work on that xD).
