What got you into cosplay?
I used to watch anime and read manga every once in a while and my friends would talk about it all the time. Eventually I found out one of them were a cosplayer and went to anime conventions, one time I decided to tag along with them and see what they were like for myself. Seeing so many people in cosplay at my first convention, I felt a little left out. After that I decided I would get a cosplay of my own and wear it to the other conventions I went to. Since then I have accumulated many other cosplays and work on perfecting each one as time goes on.
What was your first costume and why?
Shippuden Sakura Haruno at Anime Boston 2008. The group of friends I was going to the con with were all cosplaying Team 7 Naruto characters and they didnt have a Sakura with them so I decided to cosplay her at the time. Since then it has become one of my favorite cosplays and have many variations of her character. =D
What is your favorite costume and why?
Future Sakura Haruno. While I purchase many of my cosplays cause I don't have a sewing machine to make my own, this particular one I had hand sewn together.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Rinoa Heartilly, the Kingdom Hearts version made up by Dion Rogers.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting my Sasuke-kun[dragonlance311] <333
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not as of yet, but hope to some time in the future. =)
Tell us a little about yourself
Currently I work full time, but when I have time I like to hang out with my friends, take random cosplay shoots and work on my cosplays.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
As of right now I'm trying to get together a cosplay group, currently I have about 5 members all together. We all live in New Jersey, usually meet up on the weekends and have fun doing random things, going around places in cosplay taking pictures, watching anime and just having fun. If anyone is interested and lives in the Jersey area they can contact me and I'd be more than happy to talk about it. =D
