What got you into cosplay?
What got me into cosplay? I suppose it was getting the chance to be something, someone I really enjoy. And to fit in with a bunch of other people. Anime wasn't as popular when I first got into it and enjoying "cartoons" at that age was "immature", so I jumped on the cosplay bandwagon the moment I got the chance.
What was your first costume and why?
I created at thift store!Misa Amane from Death Note cosplay for my first "con", it was really Tekkoshocon 1/2, which is only a few hours long at the local library. It was pretty good, I believe, but my REAL first cosplay that I created with my first two hands was Ritsuka Aoyagi from Loveless. I absolutely love that little catboy!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently? Probably Sora, I love it, I absolutely do, and my other costumes [ while amazing ], still need a bit work here and there!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well, I wanted to make my Kadaaju costume but the level needed for that... was just... eeh. Currently I'd like to make a Crown Clown Allen costume! Hopefully for Kumoricon!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Memorable? Well, as much as I loved my first con, going to Washington months later to attend Kumoricon was the absolute best. Cosplaying with my best friends obviously makes for great memories, but what sticks out the most? It's a hard decision!
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I don't, really.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I haven't the esteem to really uhm.. get out infront of people and show off!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm not in school currently and I live at home with my family, I've got a job at the local mall though which I love. I'm intent on leaving Pennsylvania entirely to come to Seattle, Washington and live with those I love most.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
...Crisis Core characters are fucking amazing.
