What got you into cosplay?
Quick side note, all my professional photos were done by Travis Patterson. He is available for cosplay shoots, so PM me if you want his contact information. ^___^* Anyway, cosplay, for me, happened even before I knew what cosplay was. It started out in small ways, like wearing the jewelry of a favorite character. Somehow, it blossomed into dressing up for Halloween. When I first found out about conventions and cosplay, I felt like I finally found home.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII. FFVIII was the first thing I ever "fangirled," and I strongly identified with Rinoa. Then I met my boyfriend, who looks strangely like Squall! I couldn't resist making the costume.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I can't pick just one, because I only cosplay characters I love. It doesn't matter what the costume is, as long as I identify with the character and enjoy the series.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Of course! Right now, I'm trying to put together something for Azuki from my favorite manga, The Embalmer.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Hmm. Being handcuffed to L as Misa for MegaCon was pretty fun!

I'm self-employed, which is awesome! I run a videography business, which lets me work on my own schedule and gives me time for cosplay.
