What got you into cosplay?
My friends dragged me into it. I was going to Tekko 1/2 in 2006 and they were all cosplaying, so they told me to make something too. I was pretty terrible at it, but it was the first thing I'd ever sewn.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was a Pika-girl. I thought it would be quick and simple, which it was. I made a yellow pleated skirt (which has since been lost, somehow), yellow leg warmers, and had a yellow t-shirt with brown stripes across the back. I had ears and a tail too, of course. It was simple, but I learned that sewing/costume making takes longer than I had previously thought. And is more difficult than I expected.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Thief King Bakura. It is by far my most comfortable costume, even though the open chest binding has ripped off some of my skin D: I love how it looks on me! I actually have his body type, since he's not one of those skinny skinny Asian boys. And I do love having screaming fangirls~
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Otakon 2009, as my first ever Otakon. Words cannot express how much fun I had!
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but it's something I'd like to do in the future.
My favorite anime
Yu-Gi-Oh, Sailor Moon, Kuroshitsuji, Magi, Petshop of Horrors
My favorite game(s)
Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII & X, World Ends With You, Patapon, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, .hack//G.U.
