What got you into cosplay?
Well, personally I've never cosplayed, but I became very fascinated with cosplay during my first visit to Anime Expo-2000.
What was your first costume and why?
None to date, but thinking about one.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Rosiel's Yuber from Suikoden 3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, I want to do a good (and huge) costume of the 3rd colossus from Shadow of the Colossus.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Well, mostly Lionel's (LionBoogy) ability to create really amazing props and OMG the bike from Xenosaga.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No but I've been to all of the AX ones.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My friend Ramon's version of a Final Fantasy X skit. It was hillarious.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Sure have, the ones that they give out called.....oh god.......name's on the tip of my tounge......oh yeah, the Oscars. Just kidding. No, I have not won any awards. But I almost had you believing I did didn't I? lol
Tell us a little about yourself
A little about myself huh? Well, I'm the son of a world destroying entity named Jenov.....wait, no that's Sephiroth. My mistake. Actually, I'm originally from Los Angeles, CA and currently living in Denver with my wife Laura (Miyu) who was my first subject and continues to be my #1 model. I have 3 huge dogs that are eating me out of house and home, LOL. I haven't done photography for too long to be honest (About 1 1/2 years) because I was being hesitant to do it. The reason I was being hesitant is because I wanted to achieve a certain level of quality that I myself would be content with before I dove head first into the whole thing. I studied relentlessly. I'm still studying now. I don't think the studying will ever come to an end. I'm a devout follower of the Japanese concept of "Kaizen", and have/always will apply that concept to every single one of my shots. So in a nutshell, there's my story. Actually, that bit is just my cover story. I'm really working for the CIA to infiltrate the world of cosplay, and report any good costumes to my boss Rufus. You see, Rufus is a HUGE cosplayer and wants to make money doing commissions to open up his own electric company. (Shyeaah, like THAT'll work)
