What got you into cosplay?
My brother. At first, I always thought it'd be too "nerdy or geeky", but it's not. Cons are almost like going to a 3-day Halloween party. Everyone is fun and cool(except the psychos, you know who you are). I love it now! I get all giddy when I decide on the next costume that I'll make ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
Don Kanonji from Bleach. My brother made the costume specifically for me. Me and him went to Anime Detour 2007 as the "Karakura Super Hero Squad". He cosplayed Kon in his super hero outfit and me in the Don Kanonji outfit.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Sven Vollfied from Black Cat. He is the coolest "side character" in my opinion(right next to Haji in Blood+). He's got the cool Gentleman's Code to abide by and protect all innocent women and children. Most Sven's I've seen cosplayed wear just the suit and hat. I went out and did the little extra and got a briefcase, had my hat customized to have green anime style hair, cigarette, and newspaper. The whole shibang ^_^
Also, I'm starting to like my Lavi costume. I'm getting a lot of recognition at Cons with him. It's definately something I love wearing. It's up there with my Sven.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Gundam. 25 Feet Tall. Two Deathscythes. It can do Hiten Mitsurugi Style, genjitsu, bankai, activate innocence(up to Lv.5), go Super Saiyan Lv.7, use limit break attacks, perform alchemy without a transmutation circle, and transform into a semi-truck on command. It's all silver and red too. Also, whenever it gets splashed with water it changes to the opposite sex(haven't decided to do a male or female gundam yet). This is a "dream" costume....right?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I cosplayed as Lavi(2nd Costume) from D.Gray Man at Anime Detour 2008. I had two fan girls that followed me around praising me as if I was their god. One of the girls wrapped me around in a chain and kissed me on the cheek. Later, she asked me if I'd like to have lunch with her the next day. The next day, was the last day of the convention and I had a lot to do, so I had to decline.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope, I plan to though. I'm afraid of critisizm, so I'll see.

Tell us a little about yourself
Full time college student at North Hennepin Community College and full time Assistant Manager at GameStop. I am very busy weekly. I love my job, and I love the students at NHCC, my life is going great right now besides the homework and zero free time to do stuff. I plan on transferring to a University and major in the medical field(not sure what at the moment). With any of my free time that I have, I usually use it to hangout with friends which consist of hobbies including watching anime, or gaming. Once in awhile I'll go bowling, or do something to get off of my @$$, but usually natural sunlight burns me ^_^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm very friendly and generous, and I'm not afraid to do different poses upon request. I like it when people suggest poses for pictures because it shows me that they really like the character I'm cosplaying and would like to see their favorite pose. Trust me when I say this that if I could pull some of the poses I did at Anime Detour 2008, I can do ANY pose asked ^_^. Also, if you saw my anime collection you'd cry. If you saw my plushie collection you'd weep. If you saw my gaming collection you'd sob. If you saw my room you'd faint ^_^
