What got you into cosplay?
My love of the characters and the enthusiasm of the fandoms! ^.^~
What was your first costume and why?
Unofficially: Pride!Ed (but you'll be hard-pressed to find picture proof of this sad attempt) because I used to be a raging FMA/Ed fangirl. XD Officially: Yoruichi from Bleach and Fai D. Flourite from Tsubasa, because both characters rock my world and I thought they'd be fun!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Oh, definitely Fai! Hyuu~! He's one of my favorite characters EVER, so it's much fun to go around as him and glomp random Kuroganes (and Vic Mignogna).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
^^; At this point my sewing skills are almost non-existent, but I do "shop victoriously" on eBay! *is shot* But as far as a dream costume, I guess simply improving on the quality of my Fai cosplay....I'd LOVE to do Infinity!Fai, should I ever get an Infinity!Kurogane lined up. *grins* I also would love to do Maru from xXxHOLiC, but only with a fun Moro and a sexy Yuuko. ^.^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
X3 A-Kon 18, glomping Vic Mignogna during his panel. He made my convention fangirl experience by inviting me to do so. It was sooooo much fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0W8CspWl2Q
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet, but they sound like fun!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a 28 year-old otaku from Oklahoma, and I actually love my job (orthoptics therapist) as I get to work with kids most of the time. While I enjoy cosplaying, I love art even more, as evidenced by the copious amounts of time I spend on deviantART, and playing in the fandoms on LiveJournal. XD When I'm not being a rabid CLAMP fangirl with my friends (usually terrifying the "normal" people at Starbucks), I'm talking with the love of my life, whom fate decided to test us by sticking us far apart from each other (he's in Ohio).
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
At conventions, sleep is for the weak! I only need coffee and fangirl power! X3
My favorite anime
Oh lord, so many... Cardcaptor Sakura, X, Tsubasa Reservior Chronicle, xXxHOLiC (CLAMP whore, in case you didn't notice!) Also: Fruits Basket, Nana, Fullmetal Alchemist, Evangelion, Escaflowne, Loveless, Code Geass, Lucky Star, Chrno Crusade, Gravitation, and many many more...^.^~
My favorite game(s)
Super Mario 2 and 3. *is shot* Yeah, I don't game much.
My favorite book(s)
Manga? Almost all CLAMP titles (Tsubasa, Holic, X/1999, Wish, Legal Drug, Clamp School Detectives, etc.), and also Fruits Basket, Hana Kimi, Vampire Knight, Ouran Host Club, Descendants of Darkness, Loveless, Nana, Godchild, Tenjo Tenge, Fullmetal Alchemist....(could go on and on) Books-wise: The Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher, own my soul. I LOVE them! And typical fantasy fare: Lord of the Rings, the original Dragon Lance series (the Weiss and Hickman ones), the Chronicles of Narnia, plus The Beach, by Alex Garland, and I'm always a sucker for Dan Brown books. I'm such a lemming. XD

Anime and manga (do the others matter? heh): Rosette Christopher (Chrno Crusade), Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket), Tamaki Suoh (Host Club), Sakura Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura), Fai D. Flourite (Tsubasa), Yoruichi (Bleach), Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass), Earl Cain Hargreaves (Godchild), Ritsuka (Loveless), Ed Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist), Hitomi Kanzaki (Escaflowne), Yuuko Ichihara (xXxHOLiC) I tend to absolutely LOVE the eternally hopefully, inspiring characters like Tohru, Rosette, Hitomi and Tamaki, but at the same time I adore my bitchy, emo and angsty little bishies like Fai, Lelouch and Ritsuka. XD

As in regular movies? The Narnia movies, Lord of the Rings, Ocean's 11, The Beach, Serenity, Stranger Than Fiction, Empire Records, Almost Famous Since there's no category for TV, here's what I pick (as I make my own category): Heroes, Arrested Development, Grey's Anatomy, Firefly, Roswell, Eli Stone, Alias and many more. ^.^
My favorite actors/actresses
George Clooney, Brad Bitt, and the majority of the new Rat Pack "Ocean's" crew always make me happy. XD But as far as straight acting goes, I could watch Russell Crowe and Tom Hanks read the newspaper, and I'd be riveted. Their acting always blows my mind.
