What got you into cosplay?
A co-worker of mine mentioned dressing up at conventions. It sounded like fun, so I tried it out.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume at a convention was Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing. It was comissioned, as I had no idea how to sew at the time. We had an (almost) full Gundam Wing group, as we were all hard core fans back then. This was prior to the show being in Cartoon Network.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume currently is Misa Amane. It is the first costume I had fully drafted the coat to my liking, finished/embroidered, and tailored. I would wear parts of the costume as normal clothing.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
One day I'd love to attempt Black Lady from Sailor Moon R, but that hair still frightens me.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Clockwork Angel & the Wasabi Animusicals.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I sometimes participate, but it is not my main focus.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I've not entered many offical 'masquerades', but I would say the time spent with the Clockwork Angel group at Otakon 2004 will forever be remembered.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, a few.
