What got you into cosplay?
Mostly just a love for all anime. I mean, it started as "Oh, I want to dress as ____ for halloween!" and then I found out about conventions and from then on it's history, as they say.
What was your first costume and why?
Actually, my first offical cosplay at a con was Kazutaka Muraki, but my first cosplay overall was Count D (senior) from PetShop of Horrors. And I guess I cosplayed them both for the same reason... They were just really cool characters and I guess I got a little obsessed! Lol.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Zack Fair and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. Zack was just a fun character to be, and the attention I get as Ansem is fantastic. A lot of, "I've never seen anyone cosplay him before!" Warms my heart.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
As I type this, I'm conquering some of my dream costumes (Sephiroth and possibly Kuja,) but I aspire to pull of Grace from James Cameron's Avatar, in her Avatar form.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
AWA 2008. Concrete-loves-Zack.
Trying to show off for a Cloud, smacked down to the concrete, rolled over and jumped up, playing it off well.
... Before a 2nd Class Kunsel dragged my happy ass off to first aid, lol.

Do you participate in masquerades?
I'm slowly starting to have the confidence to do so.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes--my retired Kadaj cosplay got 1st at Kajonk-a-con 2006. And also at a local contest at an F.Y.E., my Zack Fair (First Class Crisis Core Version) took home first. And then at Kajonk-a-con 2009, I got Best in Show again with Ansem.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a Freshman now, at a local community college. Besides anime, I really like video games--isn't that a natural combination? My favorites are the Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem franchises, though I like some of the older Final Fantasy games and various RPGs here and there.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I love BJDs hardcore. I'm the proud 'mommy' of two male dolls, Nikolai Valentine, a Dollzone Floy, and Christophe Eros, a BuddyDoll Mars.
