What got you into cosplay?
Otakon 2004 was my first con and the people I was going with were cosplaying, soooo....
What was your first costume and why?
Kamatari Honjo from Rurouni Kenshin because I really liked the show, but none of the girl costumes interested me. It was a crappy costume, I hope I've burned all pictures of it by now :|
What is your favorite costume and why?
Probably Victoria Cindry because it turned out so well. And until I wore that I don't think I've ever had anyone tell me, "Wow! You look exactly like *insert animu chara name*!" AWESOME! I look like an undead movie star who hates plates! WIN.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
If I could ever find a Trowa, I'd like to make Catherine Bloom's circus outfit :| And I'd like to make Ling Tong's Dynasty Warriors 6 outfit, but I'm lacking in skill...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
This is going to sound super queer, but being Cooking Mama at Katsucon 2008. ...2 days after VG Cats posted the 'Educated Mama' comic. Right. I had 11 year olds running up to me asking if Miyamoto gave me black eyes when I didn't make him a sandwich. Scott, you're a butt hole. >:|
Do you participate in masquerades?
I'd like to do one with team Girly Boy/Team Khris, but something tells me we'll never get our act together.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, mine aren't good enough for those shenanigans.
