What got you into cosplay?
I went to my first con in September of 2007 - Kumoricon, in Vancouver, WA. Being there and seeing all the crazy fans dressed up in their cosplay was an eye-opener for me, and I decided that I wanted to try to do that, too.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Saya Otonashi from Blood+. It was such a closet cosplay .. really, just an excuse for me to wear a short skirt and carry a sword. Also the first and only girl cosplay that I've done to date.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume thus far has probably been Roxas - both because of the reception and the fun of wearing it. I have a fond spot in my heart for that little bastard.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
If I could pull off a good Gokudera (which, by the way, is a costume I'm making right now), that would be miraculous.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I think that Kumoricon 2008 was a pretty intense con experience. It was mine and Missy's debuts of our Roxas and Axel cosplays, and the reception we got was incredible! We'd hardly stepped out of the car before we got picture requests .. and then there was the infamous ~*FANGIRL PANEL*~ moment. Ask me about that one.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't to date, but I might in the future.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
"Best wigs" at Kumoricon Lite 2008. That's it, though!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a rising freshman at Loyola-Marymount University, down in Los Angeles. I do have a family. I have a job selling Cutco, i.e. the job that every college student does! My hobbies are writing and reading and sewing shit. xD;
