What got you into cosplay?
I saw other people in costumes and I wanted to try and make one.
What was your first costume and why?
Jedi-Toronto trek 4
Doctor Who-Romona- both same year
What is your favorite costume and why?
Queen Emerldas-6 meters of black Velvet cape looks so cool done up with about 4 meters of red velvet dress. It just looked so cool the cape and the dress piece.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hawkgirl -but with real feathers as her wings. One day I will make it. just need to pluck alot of chickens. lol
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Aang costume- My best friend Angela made me a costume last year. It was done in a day just before Anime north..ok the thursday before. lol. The whole time making it she want to strangle me but I'm still here. Thanks again buddy for not strangleing me and for making Aang.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes-From Toronto trek 4 till toronto trek 15 didn't miss a con un til I had my son. He was due the day of the con so I had to miss TT16. I've done Animae North, SFX, Northern Anime, Doctor who Con's, and dress my horses up for Costume classes.
What was your best masquerade experience?
A few years ago at Anime North My good Friend Angela and I where waiting back stage to go on. It was a big Masq and It was getting really late. angela says out loud. "Oh it could be worse we could loss power." and then the lights went out. Oh yes so True the lights went out casue of a lighting storm but it happened. I laughed my butt off and to this day I still bug her about it.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Too many to really say but my favorite was. My first Master award at Northern Anime and my second would be Dressing my poor husbend up as a shadow from B5 at TT. Poor man.
Tell us a little about yourself
I enjoy showing and riding my horse Top Down and Crusin(Max) Playing RPGA and online Rpgs. Hanging out with my 2 boys Marcus and Sirius and Helping them with their ponies Picaku and Tinker Bell. Playing World of Warcraft. Woot level 70 pallie Holy- Kellyknight. Sewing, Rug hooking(Yup I'm a Hooker)
