What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved making and wearing costumes. It was a natural progression of things to go from only Halloween to spreading across the rest of the year.
These days my friends often point out that I wear costumes more often than normal attire. I like the point out that perhaps it's the normal clothing that's the real costume.
What was your first costume and why?
The 2003 Mega-Con debuted my version of Sydney Savage from the short lived Danger Girl series created by artist J. Scott Campbell.
J. Scott Campbell was a guest at the Con and while, at the time, there weren't many costumes I felt that spy girls were poorly represented in the cosplay world.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently, it is Zatanna. It's easy to assemble and wear for long periods of time. There's very little maintenance. And I don't swelter in the heat.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd love to do Emma Frost. But mid-drift + blonde hair = bad idea.
