What got you into cosplay?
I always helped my mom make my Halloween and dance costumes when I was little, so I decided to make my own when I was 12.
What was your first costume and why?
Jessie from Team Rocket. I was obsessed with Pokémon at the time (and I guess I still kind of am...), and I decided to "convince" (force) my neighbor to be James for Halloween.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I really love being the Scout. Wearing it to anime cons is a little daunting, because a lot of people don't recognize it, so we felt pretty special when someone knew who we were.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm about to start working on a Chun Li, which I've been wanting to make since I was 9. Once I figure out how to make patterns for bodysuits, I'd really like to do either Kitty Pryde or Rumour from The Umbrella Academy.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Going to MTAC Infinity in our Team Fortress 2 costumes, not expecting anyone to know who we were, then people saying we were their favorite thing at the con.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I usually don't like to, just because I have inferiority complex issues, and I just like cosplaying for fun. However, my Sniper and Engineer have convinced me to compete at AWA XIV, once we've had the summer to fix a few things with our costumes.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently a junior in college. My boyfriend of a year and a half just cosplayed with me for the first time, and I think he may be addicted... ^^ I also collect comics and action figures, especially gashapon. I play a lot of video games, and I must be a retarded 12-year-old boy, because I actually like Nintendo...

I also inexplicably like to dress up like a man... and good grammar for the win, please.
