What got you into cosplay?
I really wanted to dress like Domon Kasshu from G Gundam for Holloween as a kid, and it all went down-hill from there. ^.^
What was your first costume and why?
Domon Kasshu...probably because I was awestruck by the cape. Also, at the age of 12, I thought Domon was the coolest character since Roy Folker (for all you Robotech watchers out there!)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Kiryu Zero, because it was awesome getting recognized by so many people at a convention! Plus the outfit is really comfortable, which is really nice. It was also fun to get to act like Zero and do poses and stuff for photos. ^.^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
As far as a difficult costume I'd like to do, would be the new version of Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear 2: Overture.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Having people recognize my costume and be impressed with the effort it took. ^.^
Do you participate in masquerades?
Once so far.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Just showing my costume off in front of a large crowd.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet. ^.^;;;
Tell us a little about yourself
Let's see, I'm mainly a cross-player. I've only done one female costume as opposed to three male costumes. I have one sibling, my older brother, who also cosplays. I talked him into it for our first con in 2006. ^.^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm a scary fighting game player. They're my specialty (though it took a lot of practice! I've been playing them for 8 years!) I'm also into rock music. I like alternative, metal, and hard rock. I don't like soft rock, emo, or scremo. I don't really care what the country of origin is for my music, so I have foreign rock along with American rock.
My favorite anime
"Rurouni Kenshin" (yeah, that goes way back), "Fate Stay/Night," "Innocent Venus," and recently "Vampire Knight."
My favorite game(s)
"King of Fighters!!!" I also like "Guilty Gear," "GOD HAND," and "Devil May Cry." They're my main loves anyway. ^.^
My favorite book(s)
Currently "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," and "Battle Royale."
My favorite character(s)
#1: Yagami Iori (KOF) #2: Gene (GOD HAND) and Dante Sparda (DMC) #3: Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear) As for anime, I like Zero Kiryu (from Vampire Knight), Archer, Lancer, and Gilgamesh (from Fate Stay/Night).
